Make or Break…….

arda1

Merry xmas blah blah blah……….

What a Boxing day special, its make or break for us at Villa Park today. We are without injured captain Cesc Fabregas, so its likely Manuel Almunia will take the  captain’s armband. Also…Theo Walcott, Eduardo and Thomas Rosicky are unfortunately dead and injured forever, whilst the best player in the world  Adebayor will miss the game through suspension. So all in all….its a heartbreak. To be honest I think we will get a draw, I might actually take a draw right now, but losing is unthinkable, if we lose…..not only is our title race assault over,  its going to be a real battle for fourth place.

I just really wish we had big Phil Senderos in defence , I would just love him to do a running charge towards that cocky prick Gabby  Abonglahor and for him to perform a Bruce Lee flying kick towards this head so he’s out forever, that would be dreams. Without him…..Villa are basically just shit.

Anyway, its that time of the year again where Arsenal are linked to every place in the world and we sign no one! ‘Fanatik’ which is  Turkey’s equivalent of the biggest bullshit newspaper in the world MARCA, claims we are moving towards signing Galatasaray’s winger Arda Turan. If anyone watched Euro2008 or watches the Uefa cup this season, they will know he’s a great player, im not just saying that because im bias, he has amazing technique and would 100% fit into our team, I would defo rather have him than Arshavin who is slightly overated.

Also ‘The Daily Telegraph‘ claims that Arsenal are to make a January bid for Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.

The Telegraph reports that a source “close to the Arsenal board” has revealed that the real reason an earlier bid failed was due to Arsenal’s delay in naming a successor to vice chairman David Dein.

Ivan Gazidis will join the club as chief executive on January 1, and will apparently be more likely to try and find a way to persuade Gunners chief Arsene Wenger to actually spend some money.”Hopefully Gazidis can come in and recognize that Wenger needs someone like Dein in his ear to reassure him that the money is there to spend,” the source is quoted as saying. Well thats fucking great isnt it????

Enjoy your boxing day…….hopefully we destroy Villa.

Internal Solutions?

arshavin_1468310

Wenger speaks about not being desperate to replace Cesc   and hails the fact we have internal solutions.  Whats he smoking these days? The harsh reality is that the internal solutions he describes, those being the likes of Denilson, Song, Eboue, Ramsey, Toure , only one of them have actually scored in the Premiership this season, that being Denilson and the rest have hardly provided any assists. You see I saw all this on Skysports news. Its very worrying, what is also interesting is that Song has spectacularly…..wait for it………scored ZERO goals and provided ZERO assists. Useless.

On the bright side of things Wenger says he is more likely to enter the transfer market this January. However I feel he is more likely to sign Eboue’s long lost cousin than the likes of Arshavin, you see he is far too well known to be signed by us.

It would be interesting if he does move for Arshavin though, if he does this one suspects he might use Denilson and Toure in the centre with Arshavin on the wing. Who knows. However the irony of this all is that Alsono would be a perfect replacement for Cesc……talking of those two, anyone read that  Real Madrid are after the best player to ever put on the Arsenal shirt, the great Jermaine Pennant.  Ramos and that club make me laugh, I think Ramos did his best to fuck up Spurs and now hes doing the same thing at Madrid, £20 Million for Anelka number 2, the great sulk Diarra and now they are in talks with Pennant. Who’s next? Darren Bent at Madrid for £120 Million?

Doom and Gloom I feel…

cesc-injured2

Right…this is hopefully the first of many of my blogs to come, simply because Arsenal football Club are frustrating the hell out of me.

Yesterdays performance against Liverpool simply wasn’t good enough, the reason for this? Its not because Adebayor was given a soft red card by that arsehole of a ref, its not because Cesc got taken out by Alonso who did that intentionally to guarantee a spot in the Spain team. You see…Alonso is desperate to play against Turkey in February in the World Cup qualifers. The reason for the useless performance was due to the fact we have hardly any match winners in the side.

With Cesc out for 4 months now, if there wasnt a desperate need for us to sign a ‘in your face’ midfielder, there is definately a need now. I think for the first time ever in Wengers reign the board will pressurize Wenger to make some drastic moves. Reports say we will move for Juve’s Chiellini and Roma’s Mexes, both good defenders who could easily replace the waste of space I call Big Willy Gallas. I hear today we are after Arshavin, a decent player, One suspects he is the same sort of player as Vela, So would Wenger really move for him? If we sign him as a winger I would be delighted. But the harsh reality is that we require a midfielder in the role of Ballack and in the role of Big Matty Flamini

If Wenger sticks to his philosophy of deciding to simply replace talented players with shitness, e.g replacing Flamini with Song…..we are destined to the doom and embarrassment of Thursday evenings on Channel 5 with John Barnes, I really cant wait for those gloomy Uefa Cup evenings! One wonders if Wenger really does have money to spend and if his philosophy is just a big cover up? I dont think we will ever really know.
